For our purposes I’ll define landing as putting the aircraft on the ground and decelerating to taxi speed, while meeting the other requirements of a “good landing” (shiny side up; rubber side down; aircraft, pilot, and passengers in reusable condition).

A View of Our Beautiful Area From Overlook Mountain's Fire Tower

View from Overlook Mountain 01

This view is looking northwest from Overlook Mountain, towards some of the north-central Catskill Mountains of neighboring Greene County. These include the Hunter Mountain ski resort, well known to visitors from New York City and one of the highest peaks in the Catskills. It has a weather station at the top.
